For more than 12 years, Distinctive Sounds has taken the traditional role of a "wedding DJ" and expanded it to a higher level. Distinctive Sounds is far more than a "wedding DJ" because we strive to orchestrate elegant and sophisticated wedding ceremonies and receptions.
 

Distinctive Sounds accepts a limited number of engagements annually. For 2012,  only one date -- June 9, 2012 -- is available. Reservations for  2013 and 2014 weddings are underway.

In the absence of a wedding planner, Distinctive Sounds can assume that role, if necessary. Originally started in Phoenix, Distinctive Sounds provides Albuquerque and Santa Fe clients with unparalleled attention to detail, service and professionalism.                

Primarily Weddings

Distinctive Sounds specializes in weddings and caters to Albuquerque and Santa Fe clients who expect the best. Our expertise is executing elegant wedding ceremonies and receptions by coordinating your events with your officiant, photographer and other service vendors, while providing appropriate, memorable music and professional entertainment. In essence, Distinctive Sounds is not a "wedding DJ" but a wedding entertainment director and manager.

Because Distinctive Sounds focuses primarily on weddings, our attention is not distracted by another event the night before your wedding. More than likely, your Albuquerque or Santa Fe wedding will be the only one committed to by Distinctive Sounds for that month. We rarely advertise and accept very few invitations to perform at corporate or other events. Distinctive Sounds' wedding ceremony and reception portfolio has been built on a foundation of referrals from the most-respected wedding professionals in Albuquerque and Santa Fe.

If Distinctive Sounds will be providing music for your ceremony, we'll attend your rehearsal and meetings with any of your selected vendors to be sure every detail of your ceremony is well planned and precisely executed.
